IGNITING WORTH, AWAKENING SELF
HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB
The inner work that Cura Animarum/Care of the Soul and Companions centers upon is a contemplative stance changing one's inside inner room, Jesus spoke of, inner chamber, to go there and "close the door" Jesus is to have said, the inner life, and soul.
Igniting each one's dignity and worth by awakening esteem in self and others drops us deep into the center, the soul where God waits for you and me to visit, connect with the Creator as a creasture, to hang out in sitting still.
I will only give and lead from where I've done my own inner transforming and need for healing in contemplative praying and mending. One cannot give what one IS not, has not. Project on to others is what I do unless by the grace of God, healing is pursued in silent stillness, centering prayer that Trappist Father Thomas Keating, among others, teaches. If I am centered, resting in God's stillpoint within, then, I emerge the calmer, reflective BEING! Ready to pass on, show, radiate unconditional love. The toxin, junk of life's ego falls away as I sit in centering connectivity with the Creator. God's love replaces the judgements, bruises, scars, and traumas of life that I project unless they are brought to Light with shadow and sin and dark burned away, as it were to give way to God's original love for each of us.
While our culture complains of being so busy and goes right on being busy, we keep circling manure from here to there, rearranging the furniture thinking all along that some new life, a plant, a plan will emerge. Manure is just manure whereever I pile it. Manure here, manure there, garbage everywhere. Sitting in it, as it were, soaking like a sponge saturated with God's healing power, helps accept life's givings, and, Grace moves us forward without that attachment to pain, hurt, and ego giving way to detachment, as Saints Teresa of Avila, and, John of the Cross,(both doctors of the Church) of Spain teach.
Now, giving this manure to God for creating all things new is another matter. It is worth letting go of now inviting Radiation, Lumination, Light forth!
